London Calling

My parents live a 25 minute train ride from central London but I'd never gone there to take photos until yesterday. It must be living close to an area your whole life that makes you see it through different eyes. I have to remind myself that for thousands of people worldwide London is a dream photography destination in the same way New York and Paris is to me. Here are some of my shots from the day:-

Westminster tube station and Big Ben. I had to crouch down to get the angle; naturally in the centre of the pavement to cause maximum disruption

I still can't manage to upload photos in the right order! This photo of traffic trails near St Paul's should come near the end

Sunset behind the Houses of Parliament. First time using a graduated ND filter. Shooting directly into the sun wasn't a fair test!

The London Eye

St Paul's from the Millennium Bridge

Hey

Mill Road, freaky. I like Mill Road, I nearly bought a flat in one of the older houses with a bright yellow door.

Hasn't it been a top week! Amazing weather.

So what do you guys do for work then - with photos like that I hope you do something with photography!
