New look blog

Regular visitors (that's me then...) may notice I've changed templates. Thought this cheeky little black number was much easier on the eye than the previous dodgy orange affair (plus I am a frustrated goth who likes black. Well I say "goth", I just wear a lot of black clothing and don't smile much in public). I think it looks quite classy and not "dark and sinister" as my other half suggests...

Look no tripod!

Finally managed to have a go at photographing lightning (even though it's a pretty feeble bolt). Not a bad first effort, especially as it was taken handheld out of the bathroom window whilst standing on the toilet lid!
